About the role
We’re looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team. These are our requirements:
- Operate and drive a low loader and hot box vehicle.
- Transport plant, equipment, and materials between various sites.
- Collect and deliver tarmac to and from working sites.
- Carry out vehicle checks, maintain accurate records, and report any defects.
- Support the Machine Lay Department with other small jobs and tasks as required.
- Ensure compliance with transport legislation, company policies, and site safety procedures.
- Valid HGV Class 1 licence, CPC, and any relevant plant operation tickets required.
Other details about the role:
- Self-employed basis
- Immediate start dates available
- Work Rota – varying shifts, Overtime, Weekend working available
- All equipment (including company vehicle) and PPE provided
- Business use of commercial vehicle, for use between home address and work address
- Full industry accredited training provided
- Opportunity to progress to supervisor roles.
Licence / Certification
- Full Clean UK Driving License (deal-breaker)
- Valid HGV Class 1 Licence (deal-breaker)
- CPC ticket (deal-breaker)
- CSCS Card (deal-breaker)
- CPCS Card (deal-breaker)
- NPORS ticket (deal-breaker)
