About the role
Multevo are looking for a Permit Coordinator to join our friendly Coordination team in Darwen, Lancashire.
Key tasks of the role:
- Prepare, submit, and track permit applications to applicable local authorities.
- Coordinate with internal teams (eg Coordination Team, Operations, Traffic Management) to gather required documentation.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of applications to avoid delays or rejections. · Ensure all permits comply with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a permit programme for permit applications, status updates, start/stops and regular reviews.
- Provide regular reports on permit statuses to management and relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain organised records of all permits and correspondence.
- Notify teams of upcoming permit conditions.
- Ensure filing of all permits, plans, revisions, and approvals.
- Prep and issue weekly operational schedules.
- Liaise with the relevant external stakeholders to gain approval for additional permit requirements i.e. light switch offs, bus suspensions etc.
- Provide daily and weekly updates internally to appropriate stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Coordination schedulers to ensure a consistent approach / resolution to improve the network.
Key skills required for the role:
- Effective communication skills across internal and external stakeholders.
- The ability to highlight issues and concerns to the relevant parties.
- The ability to work with a team and independently as required.
- A can do attitude and a will to learn new things are key to this busy role.
- The ability to work within an expanding and fast-paced business
Working hours – 08:00 to 16:00 Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
