In true Multevo style Buddy the Elf appears back on screen and pays a festive visit to one of Multevo’s highways teams – 20 years after Elf the movie was originally released.
To spread some cheer this Christmas, Multevo have put a spin on the famous ‘World’s Best Cup of Coffee’ scene from the movie Elf. In the scene, Buddy the Elf is strolling merrily down the street where he comes across a traffic management sign stating, ‘World’s Best Pothole Repair’. Intrigued by the sign, he heads over to investigate and finds one of Multevo’s highway maintenance teams using innovative equipment to repair local roads.
Multevo have been established since 2010 and work with most major contractors and local authorities nationwide, delivering collaborative partnerships covering highways, civils, traffic management, arboriculture, and vegetation management.
As well as spreading Christmas cheer, the video is celebrating the business’s highways division which has seen a record year – permanently repairing over 200,000 square metres of the UK’s most valuable network – our roads. This wouldn’t be achievable without the dedication and workmanship of Multevo’s operatives who are out day and night carrying out essential maintenance for road users, with some of the team making an appearance in the video.
Using innovative repair methods and equipment, Multevo’s approach to highway maintenance ensures the defected area is completely cut out preventing defects from reappearing in the long term. This has benefited Multevo’s customers in many ways including eliminating costly repeat visits, beating the backlog of repairs, and making journeys much better for road users. In addition, Multevo self-deliver the associated traffic management which increases efficiencies, creates positive stakeholder engagement, and improves communications.
But that’s not where the celebrations end as Multevo commend their ‘committed to communities’ ethos in the video. Christmas, known as the season of giving, has provided the perfect opportunity for Multevo to look back at the community projects they have been involved in this year.
Over £70,000 has been reinvested back into the community through projects such as providing free meals for children, sponsoring charity events, providing free of charge labour and resource to community renovation projects and being a Gold Patron to Youth Zone Darwen.
Multevo have created local jobs for local people, invested heavily into the personal development of their employees and have dedicated 378 hours to providing work experience for students. In addition, the business proudly sponsors grassroots football teams far and wide from Darwen Football Club to Dorchester Town Football Club.
2023 has also seen Multevo develop their own Employee Wellbeing App and implement 10 trained Mental Health First Aid Champions across the business to help support their employees.
