Multevo Recreates Home Alone Scene in Christmas Special

The Multevo team are back with another twist on a Christmas movie favourite for annual Christmas Production to spread some cheer.

Each year, Multevo spread some joy by creating a spoof Christmas video and 2024 is no different, with the team recreating the famous spider attack scene from Home Alone. In the scene, the Multevo Wet Bandits, Harry and Marv, are on a quest to catch Kevin, but in true Home Alone style, Kevin is well prepared for their arrival.

Josh Sweeney, Director of Marketing & Growth at Multevo comments:

“We’re not afraid to do things differently at Multevo and this is one of those things that just caught on. We set out to create a fun filled video in aid of charity around Christmas time, but since then our customers have demanded another bigger and better video each year! We have a lot of fun doing it so of course we oblige, even if the joke is sometimes on us!”

Viewers may recognise some of the actors, with the Marketing Department all playing a part in this year’s special. The parody scene ends with the team transitioning out of character and heading for a fireside chat to review 2024.

From supporting community projects to winning industry awards, 2024 has been quite the year for Multevo, with the video taking a trip down memory lane to remember some of the key milestones.

First up, Multevo’s turnkey patching methodology, which embeds high quality self-delivered services with back-office client support functions, has helped clients deliver over 300,000 square metres of permanent repairs. The business has also achieved an average local employment rate of 96% across all contracts nationwide, showcasing commitment to local economies.

Their partnership with Shropshire Council gained industry recognition, taking home two industry awards in two weeks. In the fireside chat the team recall being up against tough competition, such as The Kings Coronation and National Highways, when winning the Team of the Year Award at the Highways Awards.

They also revisited the moment they beat 123 other organisations when coming up top and taking home the Collaborative Partnership Award at the Department for Transport Special Recognition Award.

Elsewhere in the business, Multevo officially became a Mercedes-Benz Unimog Aftersales Dealer, supporting Unimog owners nationwide with a range of maintenance, repair, parts and diagnostic services.

This year saw Multevo become back-of-shirt sponsor of Blackburn Rovers, taking the brand on screens world-wide. Their involvement in football doesn’t stop there, with Multevo sponsoring many grassroots teams across the nation, keeping people active and socialising.

Tis the season of giving, with Multevo investing over £114,000.00 back into local community projects across their contracts nationwide. Some of the key projects having included charity football matches to raise money for Andy’s Man Club, providing work experience opportunities to 6 students, and supporting charities.

Aimee Dewse, Marketing Manager at Multevo adds:

“The video is a bit of fun and showcases not just who we are as people, but who we are as a business. As said in the fireside chat, we haven’t lost touch with our roots and we continue to keep it real and not take ourselves too seriously, despite growing to over 340 employees nationwide. We hope this video puts a smile on your face this Christmas – who knows what next year will bring.”

Multevo’s portfolio of self-delivered services has grown from strength to strength, allowing customers to utilise one reliable partner for a range of services to save time, streamline costs and guarantee quality. The business has become known for delivering differently through their award winning self-delivered services in highways, traffic management, civils and groundworks, vegetation management, and arboriculture.

In addition, they have the in-house expertise to support customers with specialist plant and commercial truck and van maintenance.
