Multevo Takes on Charity Walk for Local Hospice

On Saturday 21st June, a group of Multevo employees took on a 12-mile charity pub walk through the Ribble Valley countryside to raise money for East Lancashire Hospice.

Colleagues from across the business came together to take part, walking between pubs, enjoying the views, and raising vital funds along the way. The event was part of this year’s Corporate Challenge – a six-month initiative where local businesses are each given £50 and tasked with raising as much as possible to support the hospice.

Speaking about the event, organiser Abby Harrison, Senior Finance Administrator, said:

“With Multevo being a family-orientated workforce and with cancer having some form of effect on most of the team, we really wanted to raise some money for the East Lancashire Hospice.

By doing the Ribble Valley Pub Walk, we decided it’s a great way to keep fit, keep building team morale and most importantly raise lots of money for the inspirational work that the hospice does.”

East Lancashire Hospice provides care and support for people with life-limiting conditions across Blackburn, Darwen, Hyndburn and the Ribble Valley. It’s a charity that means a lot to many of us at Multevo, and we’re proud to be involved in supporting their work.

The Corporate Challenge runs until the 30th of September, and the walk formed part of our wider efforts in raising funds for the hospice, with further fundraising events planned for later in the summer. More announcements to come soon.

A big thank you goes out to everyone who donated and supported us and a huge well done to the team for taking on the challenge.
