Multevo to launch UK First at the LCRIG Innovation & Learning Festival

As Main Festival Partner, Multevo are thrilled to be back at Stoneleigh Park on the 2nd and 3rd of July, and this year they have something new up their sleeve.

Innovation has always been at the forefront of Multevo’s offering – and now with net zero targets in the mix – it’s as important as ever to stay ahead of the curve.

Multevo’s unique ‘Recycle, Rejuvenate and Repair’ system provides a faster, more efficient and long-lasting low carbon solution for pothole and patch repairs.

The insitu recycling patch repair system will be exclusively launched at the event and offers unrivalled advantages in comparison to traditional repair methods.

The lowest carbon permanent repair available on the market?

The entire process itself is arguably the lowest carbon repair method available as no virgin asphalt is needed (only a low carbon rejuvenator) and zero waste is produced (100% cold recycling).

In addition, Multevo’s ‘Recycle, Rejuvenate and Repair’ system is powered by a combination of hydrogen and hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO), whilst the unit is also road legal meaning it can transport to site itself.

A less disruptive and more productive solution

This is a complete single machine solution capable of achieving 150 square metres of repairs per day on average. It uses less road space, because the method is much faster than conventional repairs it is significantly less disruptive and reduces the need for permits. Repairs can also be open to traffic instantly.

A safer and more efficient methodology

The operation only requires the Multevo machine so plant, people and vehicle risks are heavily reduced whilst also lowering costs. There is no need for manual handling or no requirement for hot materials.

On launching the innovation, Josh Sweeney, Director of Marketing & Growth comments:

“This is a big deal for everyone at Multevo. Not only are we main sponsors but we are exclusively launching what we believe to be a game changer for our industry and are looking forward to demonstrating it and get feedback firsthand.”

Visitors at the event will have a unique opportunity to see the process in action and will be the first in the UK to be able to request trials of the kit on their network.

At 10:45am on the 2nd of July, attendees can learn more about the process from Multevo’s Director of Marketing & Growth, Josh Sweeney, who will be presenting a technical training session.

The main event takes place later that day at 2:30pm with a live demonstration. The equipment will be located on Multevo’s outdoor stand throughout the event, with walkaround sessions available.

This follows Multevo recently obtaining PAS2080 certification – a recognised standard for managing and reducing whole life carbon in infrastructure delivery. Multevo also recently signed the Live Labs 2 Pledge, showcasing their commitment to decarbonising local roads through making evidenced based choices, collaborating and sharing knowledge, and accelerating change.
