Red Rose Awards: Multevo takes home most prestigious award of the evening
25th march 26
Multevo came out on top over 100 + organisations across 24 categories, winning the Lancashire Business View Award, the highest accolade of the evening.
Held on the 12th of March at the iconic Winter Gardens Blackpool, the ceremony brought together more than 1,000 guests from across the region, celebrating excellence across Lancashire’s thriving business community. With over 100 organisations competing across 24 categories, the awards recognise innovation, growth and impact throughout the county.
Multevo were shortlisted in two categories – Built Environment Award and Large Business Award – and went through a vigorous finalist interview process with a panel of local business experts.
Judges praised the company’s remarkable growth trajectory, highlighting its evolution from a four-person start-up into a 450-strong organisation delivering infrastructure solutions nationwide.
On the evening, Multevo lifted the prestigious Lancashire Business View Award – which is the final award of the evening, selected by the organisers across all the categories.
On receiving the award, Josh Sweeney, Director of Marketing & Growth at Multevo comments:
“We have been on a remarkable journey, and it all started from here in Lancashire. We are incredibly proud of our roots and all of our people who go above and beyond, day-in-day out to help us continually improve and evolve to do things differently. This contribution hasn’t gone unnoticed, and this award highlights that we are a leading Lancashire company which is no mean feat!”

Multevo has rapidly established itself as a leading provider of highways, civils, traffic management, arboriculture and specialist fleet services. Its success has been driven by consistent year-on-year growth, long-term public sector partnerships, and continued investment in road repair technology.
Multevo are now also delivering their market-leading highways service in partnership with Lancashire County Council. This new partnership is transforming how the Council maintains roads across Lancashire, prioritising a first-time, permanent repair approach that delivers lasting results and has already resulted in a 42% reduction in outstanding defects.
The company’s expansion has also been underpinned by a focus on increasing internal capacity and operational scalability, enabling it to meet growing demand whilst maintaining service quality.
In 2025 alone, Multevo increased its local workforce by 134%, creating more than 100 new jobs in Lancashire. Their premises, based in Darwen, Lancashire, also underwent expansion following significant investment – growing from a 600 square foot office to a 2.5-acre site consisting of a new Head Quarters, a dedicated Mercedes-Benz Specialist Truck Service Centre, and an Operational depot for its ever-growing service delivery division.
Beyond commercial success, Multevo was recognised for its strong commitment to the local community. The business is a long-standing Gold Patron of Blackburn with Darwen Youth Zone and played a pivotal role in supporting the development of the new Darwen Youth Zone.
As one of the first businesses to back the initiative back in 2022, Multevo helped catalyse wider support from the local business community. The new state-of-the-art facility, set to open soon, will provide a safe and inspiring space for young people to socialise, develop skills and access opportunities.
Multevo also contributed directly to the project’s delivery, supporting groundworks, drainage and civil engineering throughout its year-long development.
Aimee Dewse, Marketing Manager at Multevo adds:
“Winning this award comes at a monumental time in our journey; it solidifies our roots in the County and signifies our connection with the local community. We are all absolutely delighted to have been recognised by the organisers, it gives our people the recognition they truly deserve.”
With strong momentum behind it, Multevo’s upwards trajectory shows no signs of slowing. The company already has plans to create a further 74 local jobs in 2026, alongside the launch of four new innovations and expansion into new markets.
