Civils & Groundworks
Using in-house teams we support with all aspects of groundworks on site from early contractor involvement through to installation of foundations and drainage systems and all other aspects, all the way through to project completion.
Earthworks & Landscaping
We can support with a range of earthworks and ground enabling projects including surveying, site clearance and excavations, as well as top soiling, seeding, turfing and fencing.
Highways
Throughout schemes we can take care of any highways improvements including surfacing, footway works, Section 278 works and defect repairs.
Vegetation Management
A the early stages of projects our team can assist with site clearance. We deploy specialist equipment such as Robotic Mowers and Mulchers for an efficient service.
Arboriculture
Our skilled arborists can carry out tree maintenance, tree felling, and tree planting schemes for projects. We mobilise specialist equipment to minimise work at height risk and manual handling.
Traffic Management
Holding National Highways Sector Scheme 12 we can provide temporary traffic management for schemes including diversions, road closures, temporary lights and stop and go systems,

A580 Junction Improvements
A580 Junction Improvements
Junction improvements to the A580, located
along East Lancs Road on the boundary of
Salford and Wigan.
Multevo upgraded the junction to be pedestrian friendly, installing four new
crossing points to allow safe passage across
the junctions. Within the civils packages, works include:
- earthworks
- installation of new kerbs and edgings
- a new ducting system for the new traffic signals
- All other associated civils works on the scheme
Holden Fold
Holden Fold
Highway improvement works, including the
construction of two new car parks.
In February 2024, Multevo began a project in
their home town of Darwen. The works were
part of a highway improvement scheme, in
which Multevo’s civils team undertook:
- earthworks
- drainage
- kerbing & paved areas
- carriageway construction
- topsoiling/verge reinstatement
Multevo have also provided all associated
traffic management.

development of a single storey new build
retail unit with 20 no. customer car parking
spaces.
Multevo supported longstanding client
Egan Projects with the delivery of the
external works on the scheme.

Shadsworth Youth Zone
Shadsworth Youth Zone
The redevelopment of the existing Shadsworth Youth Zone, forming part of a wider regeneration project to improve youth provision in Blackburn and Darwen.
In August 2024, Multevo began a project for client Casey Ltd which saw us undertake the groundworks package for the renovation of Shadsworth Hub. Multevo’s work on the project concluded successfully in October 2024 following the completion of:

Haslingden Road
Haslingden Road
The civils and groundworks package for the
construction of the South East Blackburn
highways and infrastructure.
Multevo began working on the project in
January 2024, with the work finalised in June of that year. The civils team completed the civils
and groundworks for the project, including:
- Kerbs, footways and paved areas
- drainage and service ducts
- earthworks including all excavation, disposal, and imported material
