A team from Multevo’s civil engineering department have shown true kindness by donating voluntarily to a local foodbank in Liverpool.

Multevo deliver a range of civil engineering services across the North West including groundworks, highways improvements, foundations, drainage and section 278 works. Recently, Multevo have been supporting Colas with the Bank Rd Project in Liverpool, delivering the highways improvement package including drainage, kerbs, tactile crossings, and footway reconstruction.

John Dowdall, Supervisor at Multevo and Phil Wright and Rob Cloy, who are both Groundworkers at Multevo, have been working on the project which is close by to Garston Children’s Centre. The centre provides free activities, support and advice for the local community, as well as running a food bank.

The team went out of their way to understand how they could support the local community, and subsequently began to provide a weekly donation out of their own pockets. The donations have been going towards supplementing the food bank’s stock of dried goods and toiletries.

With giving back to communities one of the businesses core values, Multevo were extremely proud to hear what the team had been doing on their own accord and wanted to celebrate them as their latest highways heroes. Multevo run their highways hero campaign bimonthly, which seeks to recognise those within the organisation who go above and beyond their day-to-day activities.
