Watch: Multevo starts 2024 by celebrating their diverse range of skills and services

As the new year commences, now seems like the ideal opportunity to reflect on Multevo’s growing portfolio of successful in-house services, from permanently repairing potholes to emergency tree felling and much, much more…

It’s safe to say the organisation’s internal capabilities have increased significantly since launching their initial highways contracting arm of the business in 2017. Multevo now self-delivers a range of turnkey supply chain partnerships nationwide, including highways, civil engineering, traffic management, arboriculture and vegetation management.

Multevo are now a 24-hour operation with teams out day and night carrying out vital maintenance on the network including permanent road repairs, surfacing schemes, tree maintenance and removal, cyclical vegetation management, civils and groundwork projects, as well as all associated temporary traffic management self-delivered.

Their self-delivery model encompasses multi-skilled teams, turnkey solutions, a partnership ethos and innovative equipment. This benefits Multevo’s trusted clients by dealing with just one reliable SME contractor to safely execute a range of multifaceted services – streamlining the communication process and saving mobilisation costs and reducing disruption.

Over the years Multevo have built strong relationships with customers in both the public and private sectors including local authorities, tier 1 contractors, and housing developers to name just a few. Having the ability to deliver these essential services has allowed Multevo to expand into different markets including highways, utilities, the strategic network and construction.

Multevo have grown from just 30 operatives in 2020 to now having over 260 multi-skilled operatives working nationwide delivering essential services for public infrastructure maintenance projects.

With growth comes ensuring individuals have the skills to progress. which is why ‘Investing in People’ is one of Multevo’s social value commitments with the business heavily invested into the development of their people. The expanding SME invested over £100,000 in upskilling its existing employees last year alone and has developed a digital skills hub to ensure all operatives’ tickets remain up-to-date months prior before tickets expire as a bare minimum.

In addition, it’s vital that the wellbeing of employees is a priority; this is why Multevo have introduced 10 Mental Health First Aid Champions across the business and have developed their own Employee Wellbeing App to give all employees access to wellbeing support that suits the individual.

As well as this, the firm don’t shy away from their social value responsibilities believing it is important to give back to the communities where they serve as they continue to grow; having invested over £70,000 into a wide range of charitable projects over the past 12 months too.

Reflecting on Multevo’s journey Nick Carter, Director at Multevo comments:

“To see the business grow and expand over time has been remarkable. We’ve built up our portfolio of services by being forward thinking and always wanting to identify a solution for our customers when a problem is brought to the table.

“Credit must go to each and every individual within the business, as without everyone’s time and effort over the years we wouldn’t be where we are today. We’ll continue to deliver high-quality, innovative, and safe services to our clients. A huge thanks also goes to our partners who continue to believe in the difference we want to make. We’re looking forward to seeing where the next few years take us.”
