Multevo set to launch another UK first at the LCRIG Innovation & Learning Festival

Award-winning Multevo are launching another UK-first road maintenance innovation, unveiling their low carbon electric powered mastic boiler through a live demonstration at this year’s edition of the LCRIG Innovation & Learning Festival.
Taking place on the 24th and 25th of June at Stoneleigh Park, Multevo return to the event as the Technical Learning Partner and have a packed agenda of live demonstrations and technical talks.
Multevo never stand still, constantly staying ahead of the curve by developing improved ways of working and innovative equipment/solutions.
The LCRIG Innovation & Learning Festival provides the perfect platform to launch Multevo’s electric mastic boiler, bringing together an audience of key local highways authorities, industry leaders and professionals.
The electric powered mastic boiler is the first available in the UK, providing an environmentally friendly solution for delivering recycled rubber mastic repairs. The boiler can be used both day and night, with the silent running electric motor keeping noise to a minimum and extending the working window in residential areas.
The new solution features a short chute design for cleaner and safer distribution of mastic, and the bespoke wheelbarrow eliminates manual handling injuries associated with traditional mastic buckets.
Multevo have tried and tested the unit within their own self-delivery function across urban and rural environments, gaining a good understanding of the productivity, sustainability and safety advantages.
Those attending the festival will gain a first look at this unique solution.
Last year, Multevo successfully launched their Recycle, Rejuvenate and Repair solution at LCRIG Festival – a UK-first in-situ recycling repair method for potholes, defects and patches.
Watch last year’s highlights here:
This one machine solution repairs roads in 3 simple steps without the need for any virgin asphalt for a zero waste and low carbon repair. Since the launch, the repair method has gained huge interest across the highways sector, and in April this year took home the Innovation Award at the RSTA Annual Conference. The team will again be demonstrating the innovative repair method at the festival.
As the UK market leader in innovative multi-purpose equipment, Multevo will also have a range of machinery displayed on their stand (stand 19), including the recently launched Wille Machines and Unimog.

Back in April, Multevo announced the news they had become the UK exclusive distributor of the Wille Machine range.
Consisting of 2 to 7 tonne machines, the range features the lifting and loading capabilities of a wheeled loader and the power and versatility of a much larger multi-functional tractor unit.
This followed the news of Multevo becoming the latest specialist Mercedes-Benz Unimog sales dealer. The range comprises the UGE Implement Carrier and the UHE Extreme Off-roader, with gross weights spanning from 7.5 to 16.5 tonnes.
Multevo now have a strong product portfolio to suit different highways authority needs across varying environments and tasks.
Josh Sweeney, Director of Marketing & Growth at Multevo, will be delivering a Technical Learning Session, where Josh will delve into Multevo’s new turnkey solution – 360 Turnkey – a new approach to beating the defect backlog through an effective combination of preventative maintenance, preservation treatments and repair interventions.
Elsewhere at the event, Multevo are proud to sponsor the new ‘Hackathon Sprint – Climate-Ready Networks: From Recovery to Resilience’. An exciting addition to this year’s festival, the Hackathon will bring together local authority and supply chain leaders to develop practical solutions for creating more resilient local road networks in the face of climate change.
