Multevo’s latest animation delves into the importance of giving back to local communities and highlights the key community projects within the organisation’s social value portfolio.
Social value can be defined as the non-financial and financial benefits an organisation creates for the community around them, covering economic, social, and environmental factors.
As a growing nationwide contractor, Multevo pride themselves on their ‘committed to communities’ ethos. Multevo’s social value mission consists of four pillars including Empowering Communities, Building a Resilient Future, Protecting Planet Earth and Investing in People.
Their approach to making a positive impact has always been to build a firm understanding of the individual needs of the communities they operate in, with a diverse range of community projects under their belt. From being involved in a charity Christmas tractor run to sponsoring community role models, Multevo have fully emersed themselves into the world of social value.
Multevo’s in-house capabilities and resources have allowed them to provide free of charge labour and resource support to community projects such as renovating the garden at Barnabas Community Church and providing emergency flood support.
Another key project was becoming the first gold patron of Darwen Youth Zone in 2022, which had a snowball effect on other local firms who swiftly followed suit allowing the youth zone to surpass their target of raising £250,000.
It seems fitting that a recent work experience student, Jessica Siney, created the animation video during her two-week placement with Multevo’s marketing department. Over the summer holidays, Multevo has welcomed three work experience students to the business, gaining experience in marketing, highways, and sales.
